Car crashes into building - please post your Local news stories
Running this one up the flagpole to see who salutes...
I just don't remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it's irresponsible.

'A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Dorset Police was called at 12.48pm on Thursday, August 13, to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall outside Iceland on Poole Road in Bournemouth.
"It is reported that the vehicle was also in collision with a pedestrian, but they did not require medical treatment." '

Typically, for dodging a £2.00 ticket on the railway, fine will be £50.00 + prosecution costs of £hundreds. Same for private hire drivers picking...

Not related to buildings, but the local rag reports that "The number of fines handed out to drivers in West Mercia for using their mobile phones at the wheel rose substantially" in 2022. West Mercia Police handed out 885 fixed penalty notices for driving while using a handheld device during the year. Imagine how many they would catch if they had enough officers available to go out on patrol!

In a second tweet she said "I've lost count of how many cars I've seen smashed into the railings on this stretch" and in the video with that tweet a Safer Streets campaigner states that in a recent study 91% of drivers were speeding.

I was very underwhelmed by the bright red Bentley SUV - was expecting it to be something driven by Avengers Steed or Jason King of Department S.
I knew there was a reason why they were painted red.
