Video Just In: Bowman Pilgrims Disc

An updated all-rounder that can handle tracks and trails as well as tarmac

The Pilgrims Disc from British brand Bowman really impressed us first time around so we're excited to try it out again now that it has had an update.

Bowman calls the Pilgrims Disc a road plus model in that it's designed for tarmac and also for tracks and trails.

When we reviewed the first version we said, "Bowman may be a small company but with the Pilgrims it outguns more expensive rivals from established bicycle companies pushing into the rapidly growing disc brake-equipped 'road plus' market.

"The Pilgrims is a splendid example of the new breed of disc brake road bikes that really suit UK cyclists looking for an affordable, versatile and durable option."

It comes as a frameset — a 6069-T6 aluminium frame and a full carbon fork, plus a headset, seat clamp and thru axles — for £795.

We'll have a review on road.cc soon. In the meantime, get more details from Bowman's website.
