Shutt Velo Rapide expands into luxury retail outlets

Yorkshire clothing brand improves distribution

Shutt Velo Rapide, UK manufacturer of handmade Merino Perform cycling clothing, has announced that it has moved into the luxury retail market with partnerships signed with both Cycles UK and Vita Cycles.

Cycles UK hold the exclusive rights to sell cycling goods in Harrods, and in addition to carrying the Shutt range will stock a bespoke-made Shutt Velo Rapide jersey for the store. Cycles UK will also carry the entire range of Shutt Velo Rapide tops for both men and women in all its outlets.

Vita Cycles has partnered Shutt Velo Rapide as their exclusive reseller in the northwest of England. The store will carry the entire Shutt Velo Rapide range.

“These partnerships with Cycles UK and Vita Cycles allow us to extend our reach to a much wider audience than previously. These customers value high quality goods which is perfect for our products,” said Peter Bragg, Marketing Director for Shutt Velo Rapide. “This is also an exciting time for Shutt as we moving away from an online only company to one where our customers can go into store to try and buy our goods.”
