Le Mans Shimano 24 Hours Cycling: 8th edition
Save the date: Le Mans Shimano 24 Hours Cycling 8th edition will be held on August 20th and 21st, 2016. The organisers (CGO) have received confirmation from the Automobile Club de l’Ouest management office. 5 000 riders and staff members coming from all parts of France and around 15 different foreign countries are expected to take part in this atypical cyclosportive event. They will ride through the night to do as many laps as they can during the 24 hours race in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can ride solo or by teams of 2, 4, 6 or 8 people by relay, this cyclosportive is accessible to everyone according to the chosen category. For those who are willing to discover the incredible atmosphere of a great endurance-race on the famous circuit of Le Mans, registration will start by the beginning of December on www.24heuresvelo.fr.
I make a point of always stopping for red lights. Yes I've seen some cyclists ignore them, certainly not all....
Like most things to do with motor vehicles the logic seems backwards here....
