Perhaps a complaint to the PCC is in order

Waste of time. When police forces descend to this level of crap-ness, it's because of an inactve and compliant 'don't rock the boat' PCC. The Lancashire PCC, Snowden, simply dismisses all complaints with 'I can't interfere with operational decisions of the police'

Do they disintegrate because they are held together with clips?

Google maps shows several transport-based companies (including Hacklings Transport, Pulhams Coaches).  It's almost as if they should be inured to large vehicles passing down their historic narrow streets.  Perhaps they prefer the Cotswold Performance Cars end of things - or even JWORX Automotive - rather than bus-loads of grockles?

They seem to have a rather large car park by the Co-op (with petrol station also).

Maybe a local worthy could donate a field - or two! - as a coach park, just off the main road?

Perhaps as you say "these are not the visitors we are looking for"?

At least the bridge strike will not affect rail services.

Driver couldn't decide if they wanted to go dogging or cottaging, so tried to do both at the same time?

It's almost like modern cars, especially XL SUVs are built with stupidly large crumple zones to protect the occupants when involved in crashes well above the National Speed Limits.
